People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Invade Philippines

You remembers my blog about Giant Crocodile we find here in Philippines? It supposedly kill and eat Filipino fisherman, so town men get together and find Giant Crocodile and capture and put in zoo for all world to come and see.

But now this PETA group invade Philppines and wants Crocodile to be released to eat more Filipino peoples. WOW, OMG! Maybe we should takes to court and give Giant Crocodile Human Rights and have jury and evidence and American NCIS to come and find evidence. BTW, should they haves abortion rights? What about light color skin Crocodile, same rights as dark color? And should old get security pension if they old and have no teeth to eat? Should they be given false teeth paid for by Crocodile taxes or Filipino taxes?

OMG…PETA is So Stupid Group

Below story is story of hows PETA kill many animal in America.

MANILA, Philippines (AP) Animal rights activists urged Philippine authorities on Saturday to return a captured giant crocodile back to the wild, but the mayor of the town where it was caught refused, saying it poses a threat to residents.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said the 20-foot (6.1-meter) saltwater crocodile nicknamed Lolong should be returned to its natural habitat because if it remains in captivity it is likely to develop abnormal behavior and endanger its caretakers and visitors to a proposed park.

Mayor Edwin Cox Elorde of southern Agusan del Sur province’s Bunawan township said about 1,300 residents who rely on fishing in the area could be attacked by the crocodile, believed to be the largest in captivity in the world.

Wildlife officer Ron Sumilier, who led the team that trapped the animal last week, said it may have attacked a fisherman who disappeared from the area about two months ago.

Ashley Fruno, senior campaigner for PETA Asia-Pacific, said natural conditions can never be replicated in zoos or animal shelters, resulting in physical and mental stress for captive animals.

“It’s clear that the promoters of this park are thinking only of their bank balance, without so much as an afterthought for the animal’s well-being,” she said.

Elorde said he was hurt by suggestions the crocodile was captured for the financial benefit of local officials. He has announced that Lolong will be the main attraction at an eco park to attract tourists to the remote town.

“We did not capture Lolong for any commercial reasons,” he told The Associated Press. “We captured him to save the residents in the area and to save Lolong” because villagers were planning to poison it.

Groups like PETA “are so quick in making demands without even visiting our area,” he said.

Elorde said the one-ton crocodile hasn’t eaten since being captured, possibly because of stress. Crocodiles can live for several months without eating.

It is being kept in a 8,610-square foot (800-square meter) pen with 4-foot (1.2-meter) -high concrete walls topped by welded wire.

Below is Story of PETA Killers

Animal lovers worldwide now have access to more than a decade’s worth of evidence showing that People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) kills thousands of defenseless pets at its Virginia headquarters. Since 1998, PETA has opted to “put down” 25,840 adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens instead of finding them “forever homes.”

PETA’s “Animal Record” report for 2010, which the animal rights group itself filed with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, shows that PETA employees killed 94 percent of the dogs and cats in their care last year. During all of 2010, PETA found adoptive homes for just 44 pets.

Just 44 dogs and cats—out of the 2,345 PETA took in. Those numbers are abysmal, and they and offer little hope for homeless animals to escape perishing on PETA’s version of “death row.”

The Virginia Beach SPCA, just down the road from PETA’s Norfolk headquarters, manages to adopt out the vast majority of the animals in its care. And it does it on a shoestring budget

Why would PETA, an “animal rights” group, secretly kill animals at its headquarters? From a cost-saving standpoint, PETA’s hypocrisy isn’t difficult to understand: Killing adoptable cats and dogs—and storing the bodies in a walk-in freezer until they can be cremated—requires far less money and effort than caring for the pets until they are adopted.

PETA has a $33 million annual budget. But instead of investing in the lives of the thousands of flesh-and-blood creatures in its care, the group spends millions on media campaigns telling Americans that eating meat, drinking milk, fishing, hunting, wearing leather shoes, and benefiting from medical research performed on lab rats are all “unethical.”

The bottom line is that PETA’s leaders care more about cutting into their advertising budget than finding homes for the six pets, on average, that they kill every single day.

Years of public outrage has not been enough to convince PETA to eliminate its pet eradication program. Now the death toll of animals in PETA’s care has reached 25,840, including 2,200 pets in 2010 alone.

PETA has ceased being an animal charity. It’s behaving more like a slaughterhouse.
